We are the Bear Clan . A group of Native Americans and mixed blood who are all striving to help teach the cultures and traditions and Spirituality of our ancestors, and save Mother Earth. 6 years ago, our Chief (Chief Straight Arrow) had a dream. He wanted to keep the ways of his ancestors alive, so he decided to have a gathering. A "Gathering" of all tribes, to come together as one, and help teach the ways of our ancestors thru music, dance, displays, teachings, and stories, and to help save Mother Earth from destruction. Each year we have all proceeds go to our local fire departments, ambulance, Miracle league , Rensselaer Boys and Girls Club, Military Moms in Action, and area schools, just to name a few. We are a non-profit organization who strive to better our community and Mother Earth, and keep our traditions and cultures alive. Come join us Sept. 12th & 13th at 890 Luther Road, East Greenbush, NY. $5 for adults, and children 12 and under free.
