SUE MANGOLD FOR EAST GREENBUSH TOWN COUNCIL
I am running for East Greenbush Town Council. I graduated from CHS(as Suzanne Hart) in 1978. I am also a graduate of HVCC and Siena College (BA in Accounting). Because my husband Rob and I love this community, we chose to raise our own children, Melissa (25), and Robbie (23) here. Professionally, I have solid financial experience. For 5 years I worked in Syracuse for General Electric as Finance Manager. Upon returning to East Greenbush I worked for RPI as Financial Analyst in the Controller’s Office. Currently, I serve as Human Resources Manager at George J. Martin & Son, electrical contractor plus I am a local small business owner of Power Survey and Control Corp. in town. Community involvement has always been important to me. I am currently a member of the Planning Board in East Greenbush. I have been involved with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Greenbush and Columbia Soccer and as a catechist for The Church of the Holy Spirit on Columbia Turnpike. As Town Board member, my goals are to approve the Fed-Ex deal, support local business owners and revitalize Columbia Turnpike. I also support yearly financial audits and controlling taxes so that East Greenbush is affordable for all residents. I will work to improve and better utilize our current Town Parks and Town Hall for more community events. East Greenbush is a wonderful place to live and I will fight to keep it that way.
